air india frequent flyer offer that allows you to upgrade to Executive Class with your FFP mileage points at the time of departure.

Applicable for IC designated domestic flights between New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata and Hyderabad domestic terminals.

Upgrade available for members of the Indian Programme (F,G and S series) for IC designated domestic flights
Offer open from 2 hours to 45 minutes prior to flight departure, subject to availability of seats in the Executive Class
Members holding revenue ticket in any Booking Class are eligible

air india Flying Returns mileage points accrued for travel on upgraded ticket will be as per class of booking, not the executive class
Mileage Upgrades are applicable for Award either for own travel or for the travel of any person in writing
Member should meet the redemption eligibility, to qualify for the same.
The points required for the Upgrade are 50% of Economy class redemption mileage points for same sector.
Pooling of mileage points permitted with spouse.
Business process for Cancellation and No Show is as per the current redemption procedure.
In the event of flight irregularity, if the passenger has to be booked on another airline, the pax would be booked in economy class. Passenger to retain boarding card in order to claim recredit of mileage points deducted for the upgrade.
AOMPs procedure is 1:1.
Purchase of Top Up Mileage Points not allowed.
Additional Baggage Allowance / Lounge Access to be provided as per existing rules.
Tickets issued against Travel Industry related discounts are not eligible.
Upgrades are non-negotiable, non-refundable and non-encashable
During flight cancellation / Aircraft change (aircraft with no executive class) mileage points would be reinstated based on the Certificate issued by APM / RM without deduction of mileage points.
In case of voluntary cancellation - penalty of 500 points would be applicable.
