BA Visa Card Eliminate foreign transaction fees

With the holiday travel season right around the corner,Chase Card Services and British Airways announced a new, compelling benefit for international travelers. Starting this month, there will be no foreign transaction fees on international purchases using the British Airways Visa Signature® Card from Chase - a one-of-a-kind offering in the co-branded airline card category. The card proposition is managed by Chase in partnership with The Mileage Company, operators of British Airways BA Miles rewards.

"The British Airways Visa Signature Card was designed to reward individuals who frequently travel internationally," said Andrew Swaffield, managing director of The Mileage Company. "The new proposition, combined with the unprecedented companion redemption voucher program and significant earn-rate for BA Miles, make our program extremely attractive to our target audience.'

"Chase Card Services is continuously looking for new ways to deliver exceptional value to our customers who travel internationally," said Tony Glover, senior vice president, Chase Card Services. "The British Airways Visa Signature Card will ultimately deliver cardmembers three percent savings on every purchase made abroad."

Other key features of the British Airways Visa Signature Card include:

More Ways to Earn BA Miles - The British Airways Visa Signature Card is one of the fastest ways for frequent British Airways passengers to earn miles towards future travel. Cardmembers earn 2.5 BA miles for every $1 spent on British Airways purchases. All other purchases made with the Card, including payments ranging from utility bills to gym memberships, earn 1.25 BA miles for every $1 spent.

Redeem for 1, Travel for 2 - Each and every year a cardmember spends $30,000 they will receive a flight redemption voucher, valid for two years. To use the voucher, cardmembers simply redeem BA Miles for travel. The voucher can then be used to bring a companion along with them, who will fly in the same class of service, requiring no additional miles for travel.

More Ways to Redeem BA Miles - With the British Airways Visa Signature Card, cardmembers have the option to redeem their miles for flight upgrades and future travel on British Airways or any one of its 10 oneworld® alliance partners.

The Card is accepted at millions of locations worldwide and has an annual fee of $75.00. For more information or to apply for the Card, visit www.chase.com/britishairways or www.ba.com.

As part of today's announcement, Chase is offering 50,000 bonus BA miles - enough for a transatlantic flight - to new cardmembers. The first 25,000 miles will be awarded after the first purchase with the Card, and an additional 25,000 miles will be awarded after $2,500 in spend in the first 3 months.

Chase credit Card feature Chip and Signature Technology

Chase Card Services, a division of JPMorgan announced it is the first major U.S. bank to issue chip-and-signature, a credit card with EMV chip technology that provides consumers with better ease-of-use and stronger security while traveling abroad. Chase will first unveil chip-and-signature on the JPMorgan Palladium credit card in June, a card serving customers who frequently travel abroad, and later to other Chase credit cards within the year.

"Although chip-enabled terminals are fairly uncommon in the United States where the vast majority of merchants only support magnetic strip cards, our focus is to provide chip-and-signature cards to our cardmembers who frequently travel outside the United States," added Porter.

Chase's cards with chip-and-signature technology will feature both an embedded encrypted chip and traditional magnetic strip to accommodate merchants in the United States. The embedded microchip of chip-and-signature makes the card extremely difficult to copy, because the encrypted chip enables the safer processing and storing of data. Chip technology is the gold standard in Europe and has completely replaced magnetic strips, so cards with chip-and-signature technology offer more streamlined credit card purchases while traveling in Europe.

"Chase Card Services is constantly seeking innovative ways to improve both the transactional and security experience for cardmembers while using their cards during travel," said David Porter, general manager, Chase Card Services. "The addition of chip-and-signature technology enables Chase cardmembers to enjoy simplified transactions in Europe, such as seamlessly using point-of-sale kiosks and train ticket turnstiles the same way the locals can, with the added piece-of-mind of secure transactions."

Chase's cards with chip-and-signature technology can be used everywhere traditional magnetic strip cards are accepted in the U.S. and in more than 130 countries abroad where chip technology is implemented. For more information about Chase credit cards, please visit www.chase.com.

Chase Amazon Rewards Card Redeem Points for cash

Chase Card JPMorgan and Amazon.com launched a feature on the Amazon.com Rewards Visa® Card that provides cardmembers the opportunity to use rewards points to pay on Amazon.com. Cardmembers may now use Amazon Shop with Points to redeem rewards points at checkout. Each point cardmembers earn can be redeemed for one cent, meaning 100 points can be redeemed for one dollar.

With the new Amazon Shop with Points feature, cardmembers may also combine any amount of points with their Amazon.com Visa card, Amazon.com Gift Cards, or Amazon Payments account balance to pay for their purchases - as many or as few as they want. There is no minimum and no specified amount of points to use.

The Amazon.com Rewards Card from Chase offers an exceptional value on Amazon.com and has no annual fee. Cardmembers can earn points for everyday purchases made with the Card, including:

Three points for every $1 spent on Amazon.com purchases.

Two points for every eligible $1 spent on gas, restaurants, drug stores and office supply stores.

One point for every $1 spent everywhere else.
Three points for every $1 spent on Amazon.com purchases means cardmembers earn and redeem points quickly. For example, cardmembers who spend $1,500 on Amazon.com using the Card earn 4,500 points, which can be used towards $45 in purchases. As a result, after their next billing statement, cardmembers can use Shop with Points to instantly redeem that $45 towards items they purchase at checkout. It's 3 percent in cash back.

"Amazon.com cardmembers have enjoyed combining a great rewards program with the convenience, selection, and value of Amazon," said Chris Conrad, general manager at Chase Card Services. "This new feature delivers terrific value with fast and easy access to rewards points instantly redeemable for millions of items on Amazon.com."
"Amazon Shop with Points is a great enhancement to the Amazon.com Rewards Visa Card," said Matt Swann, vice president of Global Payments, Amazon.com. "Amazon's broad selection of low priced products and the convenience of paying with Amazon Reward points provide our cardmembers with an exceptional shopping experience."

There is no expiration date on points and no cap on the number of points earned.
