For leaders with the Houston Airport System (HAS), the announcement represents the latest good news regarding the potential impact of a possible merger between United and Star Alliance partner Continental Airlines.
“We’ve recently seen an expansion in service from both United and Continental Airlines,” says Ian Wadsworth, chief commercial officer for HAS. “That’s one of the reasons why we remain optimistic about the proposed merger and the positive impacts it could have on the Houston market.”
