Delta free tickets scam on Facebook

delta airlines anounced it has recently received reports from customers of fraudulent Facebook pages and events claiming to be affiliated with Delta Air Lines and offering free tickets.

the scam seen spreading on Facebook look like this:
Just Got 4 Delta Air Lines Tickets For Free
They are offering free plane tickets to use in the Holiday Season. Grab yours now
Actually, if you click on the offered link you are asked to install a third-party application - "4freedeltatickets" or "JetBlue Family" - that requests you permission to access your basic profile information, send you e-mails, post on your Wall, access your data any time, and manage your events and pages.

in order to avoid scam,Please be advised of the following:

delta airlines recommend you do not 'friend' or 'like' any page other than Delta's official Facebook page or allow them to connect to your personal information associated with your Facebook profile if you are intending to be connected with Delta Air Lines.
The official Delta Air Lines page can be found at www.facebook.com/delta.
You should not click on the link within an unofficial page or open any attachments.
Instead, you should disregard any unofficial Delta facebook pages.
